JULY 10, 2018
SHAH ALAM – This year’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri is extra special for the 1,142 CCM Duopharma Biotech Berhad (CCM Duopharma)’s employees attending the Company’s recent ‘Majlis Riang Ria Aidilfitri’ as it was the first time they celebrated the joyous occasion together as one big family at a single venue and on the same day. Held at a hotel in Shah Alam, the event was held in two successive sessions due to the big turnout which showcased CCM Duopharma’s spirit of togetherness on a bigger scale.
CCM Duopharma’s Chairman, Tan Sri Datin Paduka Siti Sa’diah Sh Bakir, together with the other Board Members and the Company’s senior management attended both celebrations. Previously, such festive celebrations were organised separately according to CCM Duopharma’s respective manufacturing sites in Klang, Bangi and Shah Alam. In her welcoming speech, Tan Sri Datin Paduka Siti Sa’diah Sh Bakir congratulated the event committee for their effort in gathering the whole CCM Duopharma family under one roof which will also help strengthen the unity and rapport amongst them.
“Our strong financial results for the first quarter of this year reflected our colleagues’ hard work and commitment in bringing CCM Duopharma to another level of success. All our effort also paid off when we won the “Pharmaceutical Company of the Year (Generics)” and the “Halal Pharmaceutical Company of the Year” awards at the 2018 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards.
“Getting together to celebrate the joy of the festive season will not only help deepen our bond but also subsequently make us stronger in preserving the integrity of CCM Duopharma and achieving continuous success for the Company,” she added.
Apart from enjoying the scrumptious Hari Raya spread, the employees also participated in a ketupat-weaving contest and dressed to the nines with hopes of clinching the best dress prizes. Also present at the event was CCM Duopharma Biotech Berhad Group Managing Director, Leonard Ariff Abdul Shatar.
