- Wan Amir-Jeffery Bin Wan Abdul Majid, the current Chief Executive Officer – Group Operations to start in new role beginning 1 October 2025
Kuala Lumpur, 28 August 2025 – Duopharma Biotech Berhad (“Duopharma Biotech” or “the Company”) has appointed Encik Wan Amir-Jeffery Bin Wan Abdul Majid as Group Chief Executive Officer of Duopharma Biotech Berhad effective 1 October 2025. Prior to this appointment, Encik Wan Amir-Jeffery [52], was Duopharma Biotech’s Chief Executive Officer – Group Operations.

Encik Wan Amir-Jeffery joined Duopharma Biotech in September 2016 as Chief Strategy Officer. In 2018, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and two years later, in 2020, he assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer. In 2022, he was elevated to Chief Executive Officer – Commercial. After two years, in 2024, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer – Group Operations.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (International Trade) degree from the University of Central Arkansas, United States of America (“USA”) and an alumnus of the Senior Management Development Program of Harvard Business School, USA. Encik Wan Amir-Jeffery is currently a Vice-President of the Malaysian Organisation of Pharmaceutical Industries (MOPI) for the 2025–2027 term.
